Hansika, who was selected recently as
the divine face and dream girl through
public voting by a Singapore based
Tamil film magazine, is thrilled about
her first international award.
The actress has gathered a huge fan
following in Tamil Nadu post her
successful outings like Maapillai,
Engeyum Kadhal and Velayudham.
And looks like she is the toast of
K’town with upcoming films like
Singham 2 with Suriya and Vettai
Mannan with Simbu. Also, talks are on
for a Vishal-starrer in Sundar C’s
direction.
Sources say that a group of fans from
Madurai approached her to seek
permission to start a fan club.
Speaking to DC, the bubbly girl who
has just returned to the city for the
audio release of her next release Oru
Kal Oru Kannadi says, “It feels great to
be called divine face and dream girl at
the age of 20.
This is my first international award and
that too for Tamil films. It is also my
second award in this year. I am
flattered that I have so many fans all
over world because of whom I have
won such titles!
I will always be thankful to them.” As
far as starting a fan club is concerned,
she feels, “This is a huge responsibility.
I am consulting my well-wishers and
will take a decision soon.”
